Our U13 & U15 YDL League team won the final match of the NW Premier League at Bebbington and are now NW champions and have qualified for the northern final where they will attempt to win the northern title for the 11th time in 13 years.

The individual highlight came from BASIL ZOLA who set a new club record of 6.47m to win the U15 boy’s long jump. Basil was a real hero competing in four events, winning two and finishing 2nd in a third. Another club record was set in the U13 girls sprint relay when our winning team of SETIRA REID, HOLLY GARNER, TIA GROVER and THEA BROWN recording 52.4 seconds. Thea was a real action hero competing in four events and winning three.

Our sprinters and hurdlers were in great form with team victories in three relay events, SUCCESS EDUAN and NATACHI NWOSU both scored sprint double victories. FAVOUR JOSEPH and HERMIONE MASON ran fast times and finished runners up in the U15 girls 300m races. SAMMY BREINGAN again made a tremendous contribution by competing in four sprint races /relays.
